Katelyn Tuohy is an American distance runner from New York.
Katelyn was born on March 18, 2002. She went to North Rockland High School and is currently studying at NC State University and running for their Wolfpack TF and XC Teams.

Katelyn started running competitively when she was a 7th grader. In her first season, she started breaking age-group records right away. In the 2015 New Balance Indoor Nationals, 7th-grader Tuohy ran 4:54 dmr anchor leg, 2:17 in the 4x800, and 4:59 in the mile, breaking the middle school New Balance Nationals Indoor Meet Record and became the first female middle schooler ever under 5-mins in the mile.

Katelyn is a 3x Nike Nationals XC champion, 3x Regional champion, 3x State champion and went undefeated for three years since her sophomore year and recorded an all-course venue records. In track, Katelyn is also a 9x New Balance Nationals Champion, 5x DMR National Champion with her team North Rockland. Katelyn owns more than 20 New York state records. Tuohy holds the national high school records in the mile, 2000m, 3000m, 3200m, i5000m and also the U20 American Junior record in the i3000m.In 2017–2018, Katelyn won both the Gatorade female cross country player of the year award and the Gatorade female track & field player of the year award, making her the first athlete ever to capture the award in two sports, then she won the overall Gatorade female athlete of the year award. Her image and likeness was featured on a Gatorade bottle, New York Times wrote a piece about her and she was on the cover of several magazines including the Sports Illustrated. In 2018-2019 she repeated as Gatorade female cross country player of the year. In 2019-2020, for the third time she was the Gatorade female cross country player of the year and receives her fifth overall Gatorade award (which is also a record).
